ANALISIS BIAYA KUALITAS PRODUK DALAM MEMPERTAHANKAN KEBERLANGSUNGAN USAHA DAN KEPERCAYAAN KONSUMEN UMKM DI SIMO SIDOMULYO

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the product quality management, quality cost, maintaining consumers’ trust, and business sustainability of UMKM which was located at Simo Sidomulyo. The research was descriptive-qualitative. Moreover, the instruments in the data collection technique were observation, interview, and documentation. Furthermore, the data analysis technique was conducted starting with the data reduction, data presentation, and drawing of a conclusion.The result showed that UMKM Rumah Buah in accordance with Kotler theory i.e., performance output, product criteria, ease of repairing, accuracy or suitability, endurance, fixed ability, product appearance, and perceived quality. Additionally, the quality cost had a portion within annual of total sales reaching 7.24%. It happened since a small failure might have a big impact that could be prevented from the beginning. Additionally, maintaining business sustainability meant ensuring sales fruits and maintaining product quality so that it remains competitive with other businesses, and implementing customer trust by maintaining the product quality.
