PENGARUH NARSISME CEO, STRUKTUR MODAL, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN DAN PROFITABILITAS TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research aimed to examine and analyze the effect of CEO narcissism, capital structure, firm size, and profitability on firm value. CEO narcissism was measured by the CEO photo scale, the capital structure was measured by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), firm size was measured by the natural logarithm of total assets, profitability was measured by Return on Asset (ROA), and firm value was measured by Price to Book Value (PBV). The research was quantitative. Moreover, the population was Energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2017-2021. Furthermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with that, there were 21 companies with 105 total data samples. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) 26 version. The result indicated that CEO narcissism did not affect the firm value of Energy sector companies. On the other hand, capital structure affected the firm value of Energy sector companies. However, the firm size did not affect the firm value of Energy sector companies. In contrast, profitability affected the firm value of Energy sector companies.
