PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS DAN STRUKTUR MODALTERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect to fprofitability and capital structure on the firm value. Profitability was measured by Return on Asset (ROA),the capital structure was measured by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and firm value was measured byPrice to Book Value (PBV). There search was quantitative. Moreover, the population was Mining companies in the coal sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during2018-2021. The data collecti on technique used apurposive sampling methodi.e., asample selection with determined criteria. In line with that, there were 11 companiesas the sample. Further more, the data analysis technique used descriptive statistics analysis, multiple linear regression, classicalassumpti on test, and proper model test witht-test.The result concluded that profitability affecter the firm value of Mining companies in the coalsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). However, capital structure did not affect the firm value of Mining companies in the coal sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
