PENGARUH KINERJA KEUANGAN DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP TINGKAT KESEHATAN KEUANGAN PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID 19

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of financial performance and firm size on financial health levels. The financial health level was measured by Altman Z-Score. While financial performance which consisted of liquidity and activity was measured by Current Ratio (CR) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO). The firm size was measured by Logaritm Natural Total Asset. The research was quantitative with a causal-comparative approach. Moreover, the data were quantitative, in the form of companies’ annual financial statements listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population was 87 Food and Beverage companies listed on IDX. Furthermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling with criteria given by the researcher. In line with that, there were 29 samples during 3 years of observation (2019-2021). Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS 20. The result concluded that both liquidity and activity had a positive effect on financial health levels. On the other hand, firm size did not affect financial health levels.
