PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LIKUIDITAS, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN, DAN SALES GROWTH TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of financial ratios on the firm value at the companies in the health sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2017-2021. The financial ratios which were used, namely profitability was measured by Return On Assets, liquidity was measured by Current Ratio, firm size was measured by LN, and Sales Growth was measured by sales growth (SG). The research was quantitative. Moreover, the population was companies in the health sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2017-2021. Furthermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on the criteria and certain considerations determined by the researcher. In line with that, there were 65 samples taken from 13 health companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the observation period of 2017-2021. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution). The research result showed that profitability (Return On Assets) had a positive effect on the firm value of companies in the health sector, On the other hand, liquidity (Current Ratio) did not affect the firm value of companies in the health sector. Likewise, firm size (LN) did not affect the firm value of companies in the health sector. Similarly, sales growth (SG) did not affect the firm value of companies in the health sector.
