PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, SOLVABILITAS DAN LIKUIDITAS TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of profitability, solvability, and liquidity on the firm value of Agricultural companies that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2018-2020. The profitability was referred to as Return On Asset (ROA), solvability was referred to as Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), liquidity was referred to as Current Ratio (CR), and dependent variable, i.e. firm value was referred to as Tobin’s Q (Tobin’s). Moreover, the research was quantitative. Furthermore, there were 21 Agricultural companies that were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 4 years, 2017-2020; as the sample. The data collection technique used purposive sampling. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with Statistical Product and Service Solution 26 (SPSS 26). The research result concluded as follows: (a) profitability did not affect firm value; (b) solvability did not affect firm value, and (c) liquidity had a positive effect on the firm value of Agricultural companies that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. It meant that the higher the liquidity was, the higher the firm value would be.
