PENGARUH KINERJA KEUANGAN TERHADAP KEPERCAYAAN INVESTOR SAHAM PADA SAAT PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract

With the unstable condition of the economy during the pandemic of Covid- 19, companies are struggling to survive. Some efforts have been made to implement strategic policy in order to be effective and efficient. As a consequence, the companies are consistent in showing their good financial performance. Moreover, through well-established financial performance, the investors expect some returns in the future. The investors’ decision in investing their stock is by evaluating some factors of liquidity, leverage, and profitability during the pandemic starts. This research aimed to examine the effect of liquidity, leverage, and profitability on investors’ trust. Furthermore, the population was LQ-45 companies that were listed on IDX in 2020. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple regression. The hypothesis result concluded that liquidity had an insignificant effect on investors’ trust. On the other hand, leverage had a significant positive effect on investors’ trust. Likewise, profitability had a significant positive effect on investors’ trust.
