PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS DAN GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of profitability (ROE) and Good Corporate Governance with calculation mechanisms, namely audit commitee, managerial ownership, and institusional ownership on firm value in companies annual report and perfomance review through official website of Indonesia Stock Exchange (www.idx.co.id). The research was quantitative. The population was manufacturing companies that were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. Morever, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on criteria given. In line with that, there were 456 observations. Furthermore, the period was 3 years of observations (2018-2020). The data analysis technique used multiple linier regression with SPSS 26. The research result concluded that (1) profitability had a negative effect on firm value of manufacturing companies, (2) audit committee had a positive effect on firm value of manufacturing companies, (3) managerial ownership had a positive effect on firm value of manufacturing companies, and (4) institusional ownership did not effect firm value of manufacturing companies.
