PENGARUH UKURAN, UMUR PERUSAHAAN, DAN PROFITABILITAS TERHADAP KEMAKMURAN PEMEGANG SAHAM

Abstract

The research aimed to find out the effect of firm size, firm age, and profitability on the prosperity of shareholders in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population used as a sample is a manufacturing company in the property and real estate sector in 2017-2020. The sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling. Based on the purposive sampling method, 60 samples were obtained consisting of 15 property and real estate companies. This type of research uses a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique was carried out using the classical assumption test, and for hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23 software. The independent variables in this study were Company Size (Size), Company Age (Age). ), and Profitability. While the dependent variable is the Prosperity of Shareholders proxied by Tobin's Q. In this study using secondary data obtained from the financial statements of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which have been audited and published. After analyzing the data, the results obtained in the study indicate that the size of the company (size), and profitability affect the prosperity of shareholders. While the age of the company (age) does not affect the prosperity of shareholders.
