PENGARUH TATA KELOLA PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN DENGAN PROFITABILITAS SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERATING

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of the company’s management as a proxy with managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and independent board of commissionaire on the firm value with profitability as the moderating variable at plantation companies listed on The Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research was quantitative. Moreover, the research sample used plantation companies listed on The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2016-to 2020. Furthermore, the research data collection technique used purposive sampling with seven companies as samples. Additionally, the data research used secondary data with the annual statement during the 2016-2020 periods. In addition, the research data analysis technique used multiple linear regressions analysis. The research result showed that managerial ownership did not affect the firm value, but the institutional ownership and independence commissionaire affected the firm value. Meanwhile, the profitability could not moderate the effect of managerial ownership, while the institutional ownership and independent board on the firm value.
