PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LIKUIDITAS, DAN SALES GROWTH TERHADAP FINANCIAL DISTRESS PADA SEKTOR TEKNOLOGI

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of profitability, liquidity, and sales growth on . Profitability was proxy
with return on asset, liquidity was proxy with the current ratio, sales growth was proxy with sales growth of this
year and the previous year. Meanwhile, the was proxy with earning per share. This research was quantitative
with a research sample using the purposive sampling method, i.e., sample selection with determining criteria,
therefore it obtained 36 data samples from 6 technology companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2015-
2020 periods. The analysis method of this research used multiple linear regressions analysis with SPSS program
26 versions. The research result indicated that profitability had a positive and significant effect on , therefore, the
company had a big opportunity to experience . Liquidity and sales growth had a negative effect on the therefore
the company was able to maintain the sales turnover to avoid the condition.
