PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, KEBIJAKAN DIVIDEN, DAN GROWTH OPPORTUNITY TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of profitability, dividend policy, and growth opportunity on the firm
value at property and real estate companies listed on The Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2017-2020 period.
The research data was quantitative. The research population used Property and Real Estate listed on The Indonesia
Stock Exchange during the 2017-2020 period. Furthermore, the research sample collection technique used a
purposive sampling technique, in which the sample was based on criteria given, and it obtained 8 companies that
fulfilled the criteria given. Moreover, the research observation period was four years. In addition, the research
sample used 32 observation data. The research analysis method used multiple linear regression analysis. Moreover,
the independent variables were namely, profitability, dividend policy, and growth opportunity. Meanwhile, the
dependent variable was the firm value. The research result concluded that 1) Profitability had a positive effect on
the firm value, 2) Dividend policy had a positive effect on the firm value, 3) Growth Opportunity did not affect
the firm value.
