PENGARUH KEPEMILIKAN MANAJERIAL, KEPEMILIKAN INSTITUSIONAL DAN PROFITABILITAS TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM

Abstract

This research aims to examine and find out the effect of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and
profitability on stock price. The population in this study are manufacturing companies in the food and beverage
industry which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2017-2020 observation period.
Profitability in this study was measured using the ratio of Net Profit Margin (NPM). This research used a
quantitative method with purposive sampling technique, a sample selection with determining criteria. The
research sample was 92 in 23 Food and Beverages companies. Additionally, the data analysis technique used
multiple linear regression. The research result concluded that (1) managerial ownership had a positive and
significant effect on stock price, because the higher the managerial ownership of a company, the company's
management will be more equal in its interests, (2) institutional ownership had a positive and significant effect
on stock price, because the higher the institutional ownership, the company management will be more
considerate in making decisions, (3) profitability which was measured by Net Profit Margin (NPM) did not
affect stock price.
