PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LEVERAGE DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR HEALTHCARE

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of profitability, leverage, and firm size on firm value of Healthcare
companies. The profitability was measured by Return On Equity (ROE), leverage was measured by Debt to
Equity Ratio (DER), firm size was measured by Size, and firm value was measured by Price to Book Value
(PBV). Moreover, the population Healthcare companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
Furthermore, there were 13 samples of companies which were taken purposely and observed during
2017-2020. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. In addition, the research
result concluded that profitability had a positive effect on the firm value of Healthcare companies which were listed
on IDX. On the other hand, leverage did not affect the firm value of Healthcare companies which were listed on
IDX. Likewise, firm size did not affect the firm value of Healthcare companies which were listed on IDX.
