PENGARUH CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, RETURN ON INVESTMENT, DAN RETURN ON EQUITY TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM

Abstract

Generally, investors will buy shares to earn profit and tend to sell and buy shares by paying attention to the
company's long-term survival. Investors use profitability of ROI and ROE to calculate the profit that will be
obtained also concern the company’s CSR because the investors tend to choose investment in the company which
has a good business ethic and has the responsibility to the stakeholders. This research aimed to find out the effect
of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Return On Investment (ROI), and Return On Equity (ROE) on the
stock price. This research object used the manufacturing company in the pharmaceutical subsector with the
observation duration was five years in 2016-2020. The research sample collection used the purposive sampling
method with 45 samples by the criteria. The research result showed that Corporate Social Responsibility
(CSR) had affected the stock price in a negative direction. Meanwhile, Return On Investment (ROI) and Return
On Equity (ROE) did not affect the stock price.
