Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of firm size, profitability, and leverage on firm value. While the firm size was examined by Logaritm Natural (Ln) Total Asset, profitability was examined by Return On Asset (ROA), leverage was examined by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and firm value was examined by Price Book Value (PBV). The research was quantitative. Moreover, the population was all Food and Beverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with observation during 2017-2020. Furthermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with that, there were 13 Food and Beverages companies which fulfilled the criteria given. In total, there were 52 data with secondary data which was in the form of an annual report and taken from www.idx.co.id or Gallery of Investment of Indonesia Stock Exchange, STIESIA Surabaya. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) 25. The research result concluded that firm size did not affect firm value. On the other hand, both profitability and leverage had a positive effect on firm value.
