PENGARUH PENGENDALIAN INTERNAL DAN PRINSIP-PRINSIP GOOD GOVERNANCE TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI KECAMATAN TAMBAKSARI
Abstract
Government employees are the prime mover of the smooth running of agency activities as public, will create a good performance. One way is to conduct the internal control and the services. Government, either central orlocal government requirements to manage the employees to bemore optimal implementation of good governance principles in those institutions.This research aimed to determine the effect of internal control and the good governance principle on the employees' performance. This research used the quantitative method. The population ofthisresearch used employees attheoffice district of Tambaksari Surabaya. Moreover, the sample collection technique used saturated sampling with 32 employees as the research sample. Meanwhile, the analysis technique of this research used multiple linear regressions. The test results show that internal control and understanding of the principles of good governance are appropriate to be used as predictors of employee performance. The partial test results show that internal control has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Likewise, the principle of good governance has a significant positive effect on employee performance. This condition shows that the better internal control and the application of good governance principles will further improve the performance of employees at the Tambaksari District office in Surabaya.
