PENGARUH GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE DAN PERTUMBUHAN LABA TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of good corporate governance and profit growth on firm value. Good Corporate Governance had indicators, namely managerial ownership, institutional ownership, independent commissionaire, and audit committee. Profit growth is measured using the difference between the previous year’s profit and the current year’s profit dividen by the previous year’s profit. Firm value measured by price to book value. This research used quantitative research. The sample collection technique of this research used the purposive sampling method; certain criteria selected the sample. The purposive sampling obtained 13 propery and real estate companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2019. Moreover, the number of observations was 52 data. Moreover, this research used multiple linear regression analysis. This research showed that managerial ownership and the audit committee had a positive effect on the firm value. The institusional ownership, independent commissionaire, and growth profit did not affect the firm value.
