Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of the principles of good corporate governance, namely: transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence and fairness on the performance of health centers in Surabaya. This type of research is a type of quantitative research using primary data through questionnaires. Samples taken using the purposive sampling method which selection of samples using criteria. The number of samples used in this study using 93 respondents were Puskesmas employees and 93 patients or Puskesmas users from 31 Puskesmas in Surabaya. While the analysis technique used in this study is to use multiple linear regression analysis with the help of using SPSS V25 software. The results of testing the hypothesis used in this study indicate that the principle of transparency and the principle of accountability have a positive and significant effect on the performance of Puskesmas in Surabaya. The principle of responsibility and the principle of independence have a positive and not significant effect on the performance of Puskesmas in Surabaya. While the principle of equality and fairness has a negative and not significant effect on the performance of Puskesmas in Surabaya
