PENGARUH PENGAWASAN FUNGSIONAL, TRANSPARANSI PUBLIK, DAN AKUNTABILITAS PUBLIK TERHADAP KINERJA PEMERINTAH DAERAH

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of functional supervision, public transparency and public accountability on local government performance. The research was quantitative. While, the population was Local Unit Organization, Alor district. Moreover, the data were primary with questionnaires as the instrument. Furthermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with, there were 38 samples from 38 Local Organization Unit, Alor district. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution). The research result concluded functional supervision did not affect local government performance. Likewise, public transparency did not affect local government performance. On the other hand, public accountability affected local government performance. In conclusion, functional supervision and public transparency within Local Unit Organization could not guarantee the development of local government performance. However, by having public accountability within local government which was accountably on the society; local government performance would be much better.
