Abstract

The aim of a firm is to increase the stakeholder’s wealth by maximizing the firm value. Therefore, this reseach
aimed to find out some variables which affect the firm value. In Other words, it aimed to examine the effect of Good
Corporate Governance, sales growth, firm size, and leverage on the firm value of Food and Beverages companies
which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014-2018. The research was quantitative. Meanwhile, the
population was some Food and Beverages companies, which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014-2018.
Moreover, the data collection technique used purposesive sampling. In line with, there were 65 samples. Related
to variables used, there were independent variables (audit committee, commissioner board, independent
commissioner, sales growth, firm size and leverage) and dependent variable (firm value). Futhermore, the data
were secondary, in which taken from annual report of Food and Beverages companies. In addition, the data analysis
technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS. The research result concluded Audit Committee and
Leverage did not affect the Firm Value. On the other hand, Commissioner Board, Independent Commissioner,
Sales Growth, and Firm Size had positive effect on the Firm Value.
