Abstract

Local government performance is a picture of success or failure on the implementation of organization mission in achieving its objectives and targets which have been decided previously. While, this research aimed to examine the effect of public accountability, transparency, organization commitment, human resources quality on the local government performance. Moreover, the population was Surabaya Regional Government Organization 2019. The research was causal-comparative with quantitative approach. The data collection technique used survey as its instrument. Meanwhile, the data were primary, in which collected by using questionnaires on respondents. The sampling method uses purposive sampling method. In line with, the number of respondents used in this study was 85 people as sample. In addition, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Services Solutions) 23.0. The research result concluded public accountability, public transparency, organization commitment, and human resources quality either simultaneously or partially had positive effect on the local government performance.
