Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of human resource quality, work motivation and discipline on the employees
performance. While, the population was all employees of PT Pertamina Lubricants Production Unit, Gresik. Moreover, the
research was causal-comparative with quantitative approach. Furthemore, the data were primary with questionnaires as its
instrument. The questionnaries would be given directly to the respondents. Additional, the data collection technique used
purposive sampling with survey as its sampling technique in line with, there were 58 respondents as sample. In addition, the
data analysis technique used multiple linier regression with SPSS (statistical Product and Services Solution) 23. The
research concluded human resource quality, work motivation and discipline simultaneously had effected the employees
performance. Meanwhile, in partially, human resource quality had positive effect on the employees performancewith
significance of 0,021. Likewise, work motivation had positive effect on the employees performance with significance of 0,001.
Besides, work discipline had positive effect on the employees performance with significance of 0,017. In brief, this result had
supported all hypothesis which had been formulated.
