Abstract

Companies that grow in the era of globalization are required to compete in the business world. The ever-increasing
economic development causes the inter-company business competition to increase. With the aim of companies that
want to maximize the wealth or value of the company then the company is required to continue to innovate. For
this reason, this research aims to examine the influence of innovation, sales growth, and firm size on firm value.
Population in this research is sub sector consumer goods company at Indonesia Stock Exchange, sampling
technique in this research use purposive sampling and sample used in this research is 13 company, observation
period done in year 2013-2016. The type of data used in this research is secondary data using annual report data.
The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The test results from this research by using the
model feasibility test shows a model worthy of use in further research with a significant level of 0.002 and using
hypothesis testing using t test. The result of this research t test indicates that innovation variable and firm size
have negative influence to firm value, while sales growth variable has no influence to firm value.
